British inspired Spanish steam         
4-8-2-F-2109, locomotive with oil tender type 2101-2110 (MZA 1801-1810) built by La Maquinista in 1939. Locomotives inspired by the British A4 frim London and North Eastern Railway (LNER). RENFE used these locomotives between Madrid-Atocha and Albacete, Madrid-Delicias and Valencia de Alcántara (border with Portugal). During the last yebrs they were located in Miranda de Ebro (picture) to travel to Burgos and Zaragoza. Photo made by the late Robert F. Collins and appeared in my article "RENFE 1964 Valencia y Pancorbo in Maquetren in late#2010. (Not that I speak or write Spanish. It was translated.)
